Each year Sarah from Quilt Fabric Delights runs an online Christmas in July. What fun it is for we stitchers and sewers. Besides the fun, I use it as a spring-board into my Christmas gift giving stash.
Rachel Measham Pywell designed these little gift bags, and these are my version.
Thankyou Rachel.
This very Christmassy pincushion was designed by Rachael Merrick and made by mwah...
Great idea Rachael.
... and this beautiful design is by Janelle Wind of The Janelle Wind Collection. My version is in colours similar to Janelle's original.
It fits our table really nicely. Thanks Janelle for your great designing.
Janelle also designed a smaller table runner but I tweaked the original design a little so it would fit my biggest tray.
I love these matching coasters too - Janelle designed them to be Mug Mats.
This little stitchery wallhanging is my version of Gail Pan's Christmas Delights. I love the way it turned out. The original has hand-quilting, but as I am not a hand-quilter, I chose to reproduce the stars with machine quilting. Thankyou Gail for this design.
There are other beautiful designs by Cheryl Goss of Willowberry Design, Natalie Lymer of Cinderberry Stitches, Amanda Bergamin of Seabreeze Quilts, Melissa Grant of One Day in May and Janet Rowe of Wildcraft Farm. I intend to make up their patterns before Christmas and am so looking forward to next year's event.
I can't believe you have done so many CIJ projects !!!! they are all beautiful !!

I'm with Florence! What a great output you have so far from CIJ. I struggled timewise to get Gail's Christmas Delights done but I'm glad I kept at it. Even happy with my dodgy hand quilting as it is also something I don't do. Hopefully I will get onto some of the other projects but with the next month away from home I don't know when that will be.
