Our leaving was inevitable, so we tried to fit as much as we could, into the time we had left.
Sofie's and Hans' wedding reception was held at this castle, so we returned in daylight to visit the grounds and the gardens and found them to be really spectacular.
The setting of this enormous building is really beautiful. Lots of rhododendrons, roses and huge old trees make up the gardens.
Animals and birds are everywhere in the grounds...
...with a display of birds of prey on the day we were there.
Views from the back of the castle were equally beautiful.
It was time to say goodbye.
If you're in NYC and you're wondering where to go and what do to, fret not. These are all of the major fashion events I think you should hit here in NYC. Here are the two I'll be hitting in geographic order: I'll be starting my evening at Barneys New York, which is having a huge celebration with heart: 10% of all proceeds from the day's sales of their Madison Avenue store and Barneys. com will go to the National September 11 Memorial and Museum. Come join me as I hobnob with Daphne Guiness, Alexander Wang, style blogger Tavi and Simon Doonan. Oh, did I mention there will be opportunities for prizes and giveaways from lines like Your Row and Proenza Schouler?
